Overview
Versa Squabble Duo is an iPhone and iPad word game developed by VersaGal Digital. This policy covers the app, its online game service, and related support communications. You can play against the computer or with another player on the same device without an account or internet connection.
Information on your device
The app stores player names, preferences, and match history locally, including results and dates and times. It also stores a randomly generated player credential used to recognize your place in online games. Local match history is not automatically synchronized between your devices. Device backups may include app data depending on your operating-system settings.
Online games
When you create or join an online game, the game service receives and stores the room identifier, player display names and identifiers, game actions, words, scores, results, and game state so both players can share the same game. Your opponent can see the game information needed to play, including your display name. Hosting providers process normal connection information, such as IP addresses and technical logs, to deliver the service. Use a nickname if you prefer, and share invitation links only with the person you want to play.
Optional voice chat
Voice chat asks for microphone permission and uses WebRTC to send audio between the two players. The app does not record voice conversations. The game service exchanges and stores connection setup information, including session descriptions and network candidates, to establish the call. Cloudflare’s STUN service helps devices discover a connection route and receives network connection information. Your opponent’s device may learn your IP address as part of a direct connection. You can mute yourself or leave voice, and revoke microphone permission in device Settings. Voice is not required to play.
Invitations and clipboard
When you choose to copy or share an invitation, the link is placed on your clipboard or passed to the sharing destination you select. Pasting an invitation into the app uses that link to join its room. The destination app or service handles shared content under its own policies.
Purchases and advertising
Apple handles App Store purchases under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The app does not include advertising or third-party advertising analytics, and we do not sell your personal information.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains on your device until it is removed or the app is deleted. Offloading the app may retain its data, and deleting it does not remove separately stored device backups. Online room records and connection setup information are stored separately on the game service; ending a game or deleting the app does not automatically delete those server records. To request deletion of online information, contact us with enough detail to identify the game, such as its invitation link and approximate date. Do not send your private player credential. We may need to verify the request before removing information. You can manage device backups through your device or backup provider.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as screenshots, device details, and a description of the issue. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot. Our email providers process messages to deliver and store correspondence. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.

This marketing website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Hosting, database, connection, and email providers process information needed to operate their services. External links and sharing destinations follow their own privacy practices. See GitHub’s privacy statement, Cloudflare’s privacy policy, and Apple’s privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
The game is intended for a general audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information through online games or support, contact us so we can investigate and address it. Offline play does not require you to send a player name to the online game service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or its information practices change. The effective date identifies the current revision.
